All Things Logistical
Solving problems is a challenge to all businesses regardless of their size. Solutions originate with the team and result in safer work environments, better communication, and in many cases increased revenue.
Full Scale Effects – Operations
Full Scale became my second home for 15 years during my career in Los Angeles. I began as an equipment cleaner and maintenance personnel, gradually acquiring skills of the trade.
Despite having a history of disorganized management, I took it upon myself to implement 5S practices, Lean manufacturing processes, and an efficient inventory management platform. These efforts helped Full Scale achieve a secure operations environment, while also reducing costs and increasing revenue.
CAD / CNC Automation
When I began in the film industry in the early 2000s, the integration of CAD and automation was still in its early stages. Drawing upon my experience with CAD, I found a way to leverage the speed of the film industry while maintaining the precision of Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing.
Recognizing the potential cost benefits of CNC automation in manufacturing, I worked with our teams to develop a more efficient production process.
Warehouse Planning
I have had the privilege of assisting multiple businesses in designing and implementing efficient warehouse layouts that keep up with the demands of modern business timelines.
I understand that the layout and organization of a facility play a crucial role in ensuring worker safety and maximizing efficiency. While working on these projects, I encountered various challenges that required me to be adaptable and identify the unique needs of each business to create a safe and productive working environment.
Festival Coordination
For eight years, I had the pleasure of volunteering for an annual festival that welcomed over 10,000 attendees. As a part of the production team, I was responsible for the coordination of all the production supplies required for the entire festival.
This involved organizing essential items such as electricity, water, tents, tables, and toilets, which were all brought in and removed from the park within a three-day period. Throughout the process, I remained committed to upholding the stringent regulations of the LA County Parks Department.
